Description
If you are looking to set your Dodge Dart apart look no further!
We have taken a reproduction headlight and modified to really allow your dodge dart to standout from the pack. We install Diode Dynamics RGBW demon eyes which can virtually make any color as well as contains a photosensor which turns the demon eye off when the low beam bulb is on, cool right? With the usage of the RGBW bluetooth phone or tablet controlled controller you can dial in exactly the color of the demon eye, use a series of pre-programmed modes, or create your own sequence of colors.
We also carefully disassemble the headlight bezel and paint all the chrome and amber sidemarker pieces a gloss black.
Lastly we install the sequential switchback accent tubes. These tubes appear white when the Daylight Running Light is activated on the headlights, and when the blinker is turned on these headlights will sequentially blink amber. Then when the blinker is turned off they return to the white DRL (switchback). TO see these in action watch our video below:
Please NOTE: Although the headlights are completely bolt on ready, basic wiring is required. The halos will need to be hooked to the remote and the remote direct to the power source. Typically this is hooked up at the battery jumper under the hood on the jumper, (driver side). The accent sequential switchback tube needs to be wired to the DRL and blinker using taps or direct connection with solder and tape. We recommend tapping the side marker for the DRL and probing the blinker wires on the headlights for the pulsed blinker signal and tapping that wire. The final wire is the ground which can ground to the chassis. For any additional questions do not hesitate to ask!
HID headlights do NOT come with new High/Low beam bulbs and ballasts you will end up reusing the high/low beam bulbs and ballasts from your existing headlights. This is plug and play and usually only takes a few minutes to swap. If you need new HID bulbs and ballasts for your Dart please contact us, and we can arrange supplying and installing new ones at an additional charge.
Halogen versus High Intensity Discharge (HID): Most commonly asked question is which headlights do i need? The answer is we are unsure, however there are some steps that will help you determine which ones are right for your vehicle. 75% of all darts we have ever touched use a halogen headlight the HID setup is a premium add on option. But If your existing headlights are currently off the car or on a shelf or you can easily check the low and high beam bulb, the simple way is to inspect them. If your low/high beam bulb is marked D3S then you had the HID setup. If your low/high beam is marked with 9012 you have a halogen setup. In addition most often if you have the build sheet or can look up the build sheet for your Dart it will tell you if you have halogen headlamps or HID.
Build Time: Because these lights are hand-built made-to-order. Please allow 3-4 weeks to receive your custom built pre assembled headlights.
